Unidentified chest tomb c9 m east of south porch at Church of St John GV the Evangelist

Chest tomb. Late C18. Sandstone. Moulded top, cavetto base partly concealed at time of survey, east and west ends with fuilloche top and fluted base - a reversal of the usual design system - and raised circular panels; elliptical panels with swags or rosettes, north and south. Inscriptions not legible.

Lies immediately to the west of Humphrey Wind tomb (q.v.).
