Description
This is an unidentified pedestal tomb located approximately 12 meters southeast of the south porch at the Church of St John the Evangelist. The tomb dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. It features a moulded top and base, with reserved corners and rectangular inscription panels that are raised on the east and west sides and sunk on the north and south sides. Although the name on the tomb is not legible, one date, 1765, is visible and fits the design style. At the time of the survey, the tomb was damaged and had some ivy growth. It is situated south of the Humphrey Wind tomb and near the boundary wall.
