Description

The Rectory is an early 19th-century building, designed by William James. It is a compact main block with a substantial wing to the northwest. The roof is of slate, hipped, with a central stack, and has deep, projecting eaves. The main front of the building has two storeys and three windows, with sash windows featuring glazing bars, except for a new set of French doors on the ground floor to the right. The central entrance has a four-panel door, the upper two panels glazed, and a fanlight positioned above, all set within deep reveals to an arched opening. It is a very typical early 19th-century Rectory in design.
