Description

Yew Tree Cottage is an early 19th century dwelling, part of a row of three. It is built of red brick with a concrete tile roof and has large gable stacks. A brick string course runs over the ground-floor window arches. The cottage has two storeys and three windows, featuring sash windows with glazing bars under rubbed red brick flat arches. A modern central door and porch have been introduced. The building is noted as a relatively well-preserved example of early 19th century vernacular architecture in Slimbridge.
