Description
This is an upright chest tomb located approximately 6 meters southeast of the south porch door at the Church of St John the Evangelist. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded top and a cavetto base, with reserved end panels that have cap and base moulding. There is a potti on the west side and a cartouche on the east side. The tomb includes sunk moulded rectangular inscription panels, although the inscriptions are not legible. It is set on a stylobate and lies immediately west of the Daniel Phillimore tomb.
