Description
This is a lofty chest tomb from the mid-18th century, located approximately 3 metres east of the north-east corner of the chancel at the Church of St John the Evangelist. It is made of limestone and features a cavetto top and base, with quarter balusters and tall cartouches on the east and west sides. The north and south sides have plain sunk panels, but the inscriptions are not legible. At the time of the survey, the memorial was leaning and the west side was broken, yet it remains a good example of its type.
