Description
Nethermills Farmhouse is a farmhouse that possibly has a core dating from the late 17th century, which was altered and enlarged to the west in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of brick, with a rendered wing to the west, and features a steeply pitched tile roof. There is a brick end stack on the gable facing the street, which has two large square flues and decorative caps, as well as a brick gable end stack on a small projecting wing, likely a stair turret, on the east side. The main range has a gable facing the street and consists of two storeys and an attic, with a wing to the west that forms an L-shape, also two storeys high, and includes a porch at the angle with a catslide roof. The street gable end has a blocked single stone light with a square hoodmould, possibly for a newel stair. The fenestration has been altered, featuring large three-light wood mullions and transoms adjacent to the porch. The interior is not accessible.
