Description
The Vines is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble sandstone and features a double Roman tile roof, with brick end flues and an external stone stack on the right side. The building is a single range with a small extension to the left, which is a single storey with a pantile roof. The farmhouse has two storeys and an attic, with three bays and two windows that are 3-light casements with wooden lintels. The ground floor has a similar arrangement, with a central door that is obscured by a 20th-century glazed lean-to porch. The left wing includes one 3-light window on the front and a wooden mullion 3-light window at the rear. There is a small rear lean-to that has wooden pillar supports for the back door. Some leading remains in the rear window on the ground floor.
