Description

This building is a barn and stables, currently used for storage and as a garage. It is dated 1850, as indicated by the keystone of the carriage arch on the right side. The structure is made of rubble sandstone and features a hipped slate roof. The ground floor has cambered brick voussoirs over some openings. The building is single storey with a loft and includes three square openings. There is a large carriage arch on the far right, along with two doors and one window, all featuring brick arches, interspersed with three openings that have plain lintels. The barn remains largely unaltered and is included mainly for its group value with The Vines.
