Description

No. 5 Wotton Road is a large house built in the late 18th century as part of a terrace. It is constructed with a rendered exterior, a tile roof, and brick end stacks. The main part of the house is a three-storey range with a smaller two-storey wing to the left. The front elevation has three windows: two sets of twelve-pane sash windows and a central single twelve-pane sash window, all topped with segmental arches featuring a single keystone. The ground floor mirrors this arrangement with two similar window pairs, and a recessed doorcase with a semi-circular soffit and keystone above a radial fanlight. It has a six-panel wooden door set within a moulded surround, raised one step. The second floor features nine-pane sashes arranged similarly to the first floor.
