Description
Nos. 9 and 11 Abbey Street are two cottages arranged in an L-shape, attached to Nos. 5 and 7, but they do not form part of the original Abbey Gate-house structure. They are likely from the 18th century. No. 9 features incised render, while No. 11 is finished in roughcast. Both cottages have a Cotswold stone slate roof and brick stacks. They are two storeys high. No. 9 has two windows with plate glass sashes, one of which is on the ground floor, and a 20th-century door to the left. No. 11 has three windows, consisting of two and three-light wood casements, with two on the ground floor and a central 20th-century half-glazed door.
