Description
30 Brunswick Road is a house, now used as offices, built around 1820. It features Flemish bond brickwork with a parapetted slate roof and brick stacks. The building has a deep plan and is situated on the left-hand side of a yard, with No. 26 to the right and No. 28 set back to the rear.
The exterior consists of three storeys, with all window openings displaying five raised and stepped voussoirs above flat arched heads and projecting stone sills. The front has a two-window arrangement on the projecting wing to the left, featuring late 19th-century sash windows with two panes each. There are two similar sash windows on the right-hand return, along with a mid-20th-century porch located in the re-entrant angle, which has a thin projecting block set back to the rear and stone lintels over two similar sashes.
The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a notable early 19th-century group alongside Nos. 26 and 28.
