Description
The monument enclosure is located in the churchyard about 18 metres south of the east chancel wall of the Church of St Mary and St Peter. It dates from the 19th century and features an iron railed enclosure that measures approximately 2.75 metres square, which includes a gate. The design consists of alternating spear-heads and spear-heads with side scrolls. This enclosure is part of a group of three monuments that step down the slope, with the Richard Jenkins monument to the north and an unidentified monument to the south. At the time of the survey in December 1983, the enclosure was heavily overgrown with ivy.
