Description
This is a large raised railed enclosure with two unidentified monuments located about 25 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the late 18th century and features spearhead railings with corner urns. The enclosure is raised on a brick base approximately 0.5 meters high, topped with stone slabs. Inside, there are two nearly square altar tombs made of limestone, each with moulded capping and plinth, and indented corners. The north and south sides of the tombs have plain fielded panels and a rosette frieze, while the east and west sides display square fielded panels with a semi-circular projection at the top, adorned with relief floral decoration on each side and in the spandrels. The cap on top has a square base with a smaller rounded pyramidal top. At the time of the survey in January 1985, the site was partially overgrown.
