Description

Milestone located on the south side of the junction with Straight Lane. It is probably from the late 18th century and made of stone. The milestone measures approximately 430mm by 380mm and stands 840mm high. It has a weathered top with a bench mark on one side. The top of the front is dressed to accommodate sans serif lettering that reads 'GLO'STER / 7 / MILES'.
