Description

The Anselm Jones Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 15 meters north of the north tower of the Church of St Peter in Newnham. It dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb has a flat top and features an inscription dedicated to Anselm Jones, who passed away in 1836, although the design reflects late 18th-century style. Other inscriptions on the tomb are not legible. This memorial is part of a group of four memorials situated north of the north tower.
