Description

The Jones monument, located about 30 yards south-west of the south porch of the Church of St Peter, is a chest tomb dedicated to Thomas Jones, who died in 1804. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a moulded hipped capping. The tomb is adorned with wide gadrooned corner balusters and decorative paterae at the quadrant corners of the side panels.
