Description
Lower Grove is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from large blocks of squared sandstone rubble and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a roughly square plan, with the entrance front facing west-south-west and a service wing to the east. It stands three storeys tall. The west elevation includes three windows with dressed lintels, glazing bar sashes, and a central early 20th-century door that is sheltered by a contemporary wrought-iron canopy extending across the entire width of the building. The service wing at the rear is a single storey. The interior has not been inspected.
