Description
The former cottage and attached barn at Ellwood Lodge, located immediately to the north of the house, date back to the early 18th century. Constructed from rubblestone, the building features a corrugated iron roof. It has a mix of windows and doorways, most of which have wooden lintels. The cottage is two stories tall, while the barn is a single story, both built into the hillside to create a continuous roofline. There is one stone stack on the south gable end. This structure is included mainly for its group value with Ellwood Lodge.
