Description

The former toll house, now a house, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a brick gabled porch. The building has a hipped stone slate roof supported by corner pillars, with a central stack. It is octagonal in shape and consists of a single storey. Each face of the house has Yorkshire sliding sash windows with external shutters.
