Description
Baynhams is a former inn that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 16th century. The building is constructed of rubblestone, with timber framing above the main door and on the rear wing, and it features a tiled roof. It has three chimneys and is L-shaped, with an inset gable at the angle that has a decorative bargeboard. The windows are scattered across the façade and include stone mullioned two-light windows, three of which have hood moulds on the right side facing the garden, along with one wooden mullioned window on the first floor. The entrance features an arched timber doorway with a boarded and studded door. Additionally, there is an ironwork single entrance gate that includes twin side "volutes" on the wall.
