Description

The house dates to the late 16th century, with a front facade added in the late 18th century. It is roughcast with a tile roof and features three stone stacks. The main part of the building is three storeys high, arranged as a single range with a two-storey wing extending to the right, and two projecting gables at the rear, all of 16th-century origin. The front has three windows: casements and triple sash windows on the ground floor, all with arched lintels and keystones. A central six-panel door is set within a gabled doorcase, with an ogee window above and a circular window on the second floor. The rear elevation exhibits scattered window openings, including stone mullioned windows, some of which are blocked, and plain flat drip moulds. Group value is evident in its contribution to the character of the area.
