Description

YANWORTH YANWORTH VILLAGE SP 01 NE 7/115 Barn cl5m south-west of Yanworth Farmhouse GV II Barn. Mid C19. Roughly coursed limestone rubble, dressed quoins. Stone slate roof. Concrete tiles on lean-to. Rectangular plan with central porch with projecting cheeks on west and projecting gabled porch on east with lean-to's either side. Roadside front with central projecting porch and single ventilation slits either side, single plank pitching doors above each slit. Later lean-to right with shuttered opening and curving timber 'lintel'. Interior; 5 bays, simple collar an-1 -tie beam trusses, double purlins.
