Description
21 Yanworth is a detached house built between the late 17th century and mid 18th century. It features limestone rubble construction with dressed stone quoins and a stone slate roof, along with a 20th-century stone stack and an ashlar stack. The house has an 'L'-shaped plan, with a gabled wing that projects forward on the right side. There is a single-storey store attached to the right, which is from the 19th century and is not of special interest.
The house is 1½ storeys high and has a 20th-century stone-built porch located in the angle between the wing and the main body. To the left of the porch, there is a three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with a stopped hood, and above the gable, there is a 20th-century two-light casement. The left-hand return of the wing has a two-light steel casement that was formerly a two-light stone-mullioned casement, with the stopped hood still in place. The forward-facing gable is lit by single and two-light 20th-century casements with timber lintels, and there is a 20th-century plank door leading to the porch. The house has axial and gable end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
