Description
This building is a detached cottage located immediately west of College Cottage in Ampney St. Mary. It was originally two small cottages but has been converted into one. The cottage dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of rubble stone with a stone slate roof and a rendered central ridge stack.
The structure is a single range, single storey with an attic. It features two small gabled dormers on the eaves, each with twin casement windows. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window to the left and a two-light window to the right, both with timber lintels, and each side has a blocked doorway on the left. To the far right, there is a small gabled porch that has a timber boarded gable and a plank inner door.
