Description

Hill Oak is a detached cottage dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with alternating flush quoins and has a roughcast finish on the front. The roof is made of stone slate, featuring stone end stacks with offset and brick flues. The cottage is a single range with a rear catslide and stands two storeys tall with an attic.

The front facade has two widely spaced 2-light stone mullion windows with wooden casements. On the ground floor, there are two similar 3-light windows flanking a small central gabled porch that has a plank inner door. Additionally, there is a central hipped dormer with twin casements.
