Description

Manor Farmhouse is a large farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of random coursed rubble stone with a stone slate roof, featuring stone end and ridge stacks with offset details and cornices. The building comprises a main range with a rear wing, a cross wing to the left, and a single-story wing to the right.

The farmhouse is two storeys and has an attic. The south-west front, which is nearly symmetrical, features a slightly projecting section with a hipped roof and quoins. This section has a moulded stone frame around a mullion and transom window, linked by a flush apron to a pulvinated stone door surround, incorporating a recessed 19th-century door with margin glazing and a timber lintel. The south-west front also has two-light casements on each side and gabled dormers. The rest of the farmhouse has mostly three-light, and some two-light casement windows with six or eight panes, all with timber lintels. There are also two three-light gabled dormers along the eaves.
