BOXWELL WITH THE STREET (Leighterton Village ST 8291 west side) LEIGHTERTON 2/30 Stables to south-west of No. 10 (Drew's Farmhouse) and to south-east of large barn

16.4.86 Stables. Dated 1793 on north gable. Random rubble limestone; stone slate roof. Stables with loft over; lean-to at north end. West side: central stable door with loft hole over. Timber casement to left of door. North end: gabled with 8 rows of pigeon holes; attached lean-to below. South end: roughcast finish to gable with stone stairs having projecting nosing to landing and off-centre plank loft door with timber lintel. Interior not inspected. Included for Group Value.
