Description

These stables, located approximately 15 meters southwest of Number 20, date from the late 17th century. They are constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble and feature a gabled roof covered with old tiles. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a two-window range. There are timber lintels above two old plank doors and two windows. A set of 20th-century wooden steps leads up to a gabled doorway that provides access to the hayloft. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest. The stables are included for their group value.
