Description
No. 151 on Cumnor Hill is a house dating from the early 17th century, which was restored around 1950. The building features a rendered exterior over timber framing, sitting on a colourwashed limestone rubble plinth. It has a half-hipped thatch roof and an external end stack made of stone, finished in 18th-century brick. The house has a two-unit plan, is one storey high with an attic, and has a two-window range. The entrance is through an early 20th-century plank door, and there are two-light casement windows. To the left, there is an outshut made of colourwashed limestone rubble with a stone slate roof, and to the right, there is a 20th-century one-storey extension. Inside, the property features stop-chamfered beams and a chamfered bressumer over an open fireplace, which includes an inglenook seat and a bread oven.
