Description
No. 20 Dollar Street is a house that likely dates from the early to mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features an artificial slate roof, with brick stacks located at the right end and on the rear gable. The building has two storeys and an attic, presenting a two-window range.
On the first floor, there are two 2-light timber casements with glazing bars, while the ground floor features one 8/8-pane sash window on the right and a 3/3-pane former shop sash window on the left. The house is topped with three gabled dormers, each containing 2-light timber casements. The entrance consists of a half-glazed former shop door with 12-pane glazing in the centre. The building has a shallow plinth and flush quoins at the right angle. The interior has not been inspected.
