Shop with flat over. Early C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble, now painted, to front, 2 gables to sides rendered, rear rebuilt in reconstituted stone with single storey reconstituted stone extension; artificial slate roof; no stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. First floor has two 6/6-pane sashes in plain reveals with stone cills; ground floor has through-passage to left with plain reveal with beaded lintel, to right C19 shopfront has 2-light window with moulded timber mullion, C20 glazed door with single-pane overlight to left, in surround with panelled pilaster strip to left with carved console bracket with lions head on block over, frieze with blind box and cornice with egg-and-dart moulding over stopped to right against left-hand pilaster of matching shopfront to No.17 Dollar Street (qv). 2 gabled dormers with C20 two-light timber casements. First floor noted as having entirely C20 appearance; building possibly rebuilt behind front wall. Included for group value.
