Shop and estate agents with flat over. Probably late C17/early C18 with C19 and C20 alterations, possibly with earlier origins. Coursed limestone rubble, now painted; artificial slate roof; rebuilt brick stack to rear. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. First floor has three C19 2/2-pane sashes in plain reveals; 2 gabled dormers with C19 2-light timber casements. C20 shopfront with splayed entrance to centre has glazed door and plate glass window to left and right, C20 half-glazed door to centre. Late C17/early C18 wing to rear right, limestone rubble with Welsh slate roof, is 2 storeys and attic; windows largely boarded up, one C19 two-light timber casement visible, 2 raking dormers with 2-light timber casements with remains of leaded lights to left; C19 shed with mono-pitch roof attached to rear, further ranges of outbuildings said to have collapsed c1982; C19 brick wing to rear left. INTERIOR has winder staircase from ground to second floor; boxed-out beam in shop to left; heavy chamfered axial beam with run-out stops to first floor right, C20 fireplace; roof structure not visible.
