Description

No. 27 Sheep Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared, coursed limestone with quoins and a rendered plinth. The roof is tiled and features brick stacks at both ends. The building has two storeys plus an attic and a three-window range, following a two-unit through passage plan. In the centre, there is a 19th-century four-panelled door with a plain overlight. Flanking the door are 19th-century sash windows. On the first floor, there are three 19th-century three-light casements, and there is one 19th-century hipped dormer. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
