Description
No. 3 Park Street is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a stone slate roof, along with a rendered stack at the right end. The building has a gable at the front and is two stories high with a two-window range.
On the first floor, there is a late 18th or early 19th century triple sash window, which has two panes over six panes and two panes again, with timber mullions and a frame that creates four reeded pilasters, a frieze, and a small moulded timber cornice above. This window is set within a segmental-headed opening that has a stone cill and is located to the right. To the left, there is a small oval window with a flat unmoulded stone surround.
The ground floor features a similar triple sash window to the right, and to the left, there is a four-panel door with a fanlight set in a round-headed opening that has a moulded architrave. Moulded strings run above the ground and first floors, breaking upwards over the segmental-headed openings for the windows. Additionally, there is a round-headed opening for a footscraper to the left of the door. The interior has not been inspected.
