Description

This is a late 17th or 18th century house in Cirencester. It is built of coursed limestone rubble, with remains of old limewash, and has a stone slate roof. A rendered brick stack is located at the right-hand end.

The house is two storeys and an attic, with a single-window front. On the first floor is a 18th-century two-light timber casement window with glazing bars, set under an exposed timber lintel and stone cill. The ground floor has a 19th-century sash window with three panes to each light, also under an exposed timber lintel and stone cill. A dormer window to the attic has a two-light leaded casement. A former doorway on the left-hand side has been blocked. The current entrance is through a door in the facade of the adjacent building at number 5 Park Street. Rudimentary flush quoins are visible to the right-hand angle. The interior has not been inspected.
