Description

This is an altar tomb located about 10 meters south of bay 5 of the nave in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb has a rectangular shape with a moulded plinth and capping, featuring a small gadroon edge at the top of the plinth. There are oval panels on the east and west sides, and slightly projecting square panels on the north and south sides. All inscriptions on the tomb are indecipherable. The panel on the east side includes carved foliage at the top. The moulded cap has separate moulded side pieces on the east and west, topped with a gadrooned rectangular finial.
