Description
This is a pair of chest tombs located immediately to the north of the Paul memorial in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. They date from the mid-18th century and are made of limestone. Both tombs feature flat tops, moulded plinths, and cappings, but all inscriptions have been worn away. The chest tomb closer to the Paul memorial is rectangular with small quarter baluster corners and has long panels divided by recessed ornament. The other chest has curved projecting ends at the top and bears a barely decipherable date of 17-7 on its west side.
