GV II

House, now house and shop. Late C17/early C18 with later alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble, now painted; artificial slate roof; rebuilt brick right end stack. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. First floor has four C19 two-light timber casements in chamfered stone surrounds. One similar window to ground floor left; simple late C19 shop front with carved brackets flanking frieze; part-glazed shop door and window now without glazing bars. C19 plank door in moulded stone architrave with frieze and cornice to right. Moulded string over ground floor left dies into shop front. Three C20 rooflights. Blocked former hoist opening below eaves to centre. Contemporary 2-storey rear wing has brick stack on gable end and stone and brick stack to right side; further single-storey wing enlarged upwards and sideways in concrete blockwork at end to form workshop. INTERIOR not inspected.
