6/93 Cartshed and qranary with attached cowhouse across road and to south east of Manor Farmhouse

Cartshed with granary over and attached cowhouse. C19. Random rubble limestone; stone-slate roof. Cartshed of 3 bays facing south with granary staircase at rear; attached cowhouse continues row to east, also south facing. Front: 3 cart bays with timber lintels and stone piers; central pitching hole above with small plank door; exposed beam ends; 3 timber plank cow doors to cowhouse, flanked by pair of small openings with timber lintels; central pitching hole above. Doorway to granary at high level in west gable end with plank door to lower half of opening only, and timber lintel over; exposed purlin ends. Blank north side except for stone stairs leading to granary doorway, the top landing having nosing; plank door with partially sprocketed roof over to form small porch. Included for Group Value.
