Description
This cart shed, located approximately 50 meters northeast of Park Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys high, with six open bays. These bays are separated by stone-built square piers that have imposts supporting a continuous timber lintel. Access is provided by a plank door at the west gable end, which is reached via a double flight of stone steps. Above the doorway to the loft, there is a triangle of pigeon holes with moulded entrances and landing platforms. The interior has not been inspected.
