Description
This cart shed, located about 4 metres west of the stables at Port Eliot, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble and features a hipped slate roof with lead rolls along the hips and ridge. The building is two storeys high and has four open bays at the front, supported by square granite piers, with the central pier positioned in front of a dividing rubble wall inside. There are two 4-pane lights located under the eaves. On the left side, there is an upper loading door, and at the rear, there are two additional 4-pane lights under the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
