Description

Bonnets is a house located on the north side of Fore Street in St Germans, dating from the mid-19th century with some late alterations. The building is constructed of slatestone rubble with greenstone dressings and features an asbestos slate roof with gable ends and gable end stacks, one of which is rendered on the left side.

The house has a double depth plan, with a central entrance and principal rooms situated to the front left and right. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window range. All windows are 19th-century 16-pane sashes with flat greenstone arches. The central entrance features a half-glazed door, and the arches above the central openings are cambered. The left side of the building is blind. The interior has not been inspected.
