Description

This cart shed with a loft above is located approximately 40 meters north of The Manor and dates from the early 19th century. It has a rectangular plan and is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The ground floor features three open bays, which are separated by square stone-built piers that support timber lintels. There are two unglazed windows on the first floor. A set of stone steps with brick treads leads up the right gable end to a plank door that provides access to the loft. The gable ends have flat coping. This structure is part of a larger farm complex.
