Description

Nos 9 and 10 Windrush are a pair of semi-detached cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, with an artificial stone slate roof and 20th-century ashlar stacks. The cottages have a rectangular plan and are two storeys and attic in height. The facade is symmetrical with four windows, presenting a mirror image on each side. The windows are stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods. A central section features 20th-century part-glazed doors. The attic is lit by round-headed garret windows with flat-chamfered surrounds. Gable ends have stacks and flat coping. The interiors were not inspected.
