Description
This building is a stabling and store structure located approximately 1 meter northwest of Lower Farm, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with a lean-to at the right gable end.
There are stone steps halfway along the front wall that lead up to a wide 19th-century plank door with strap hinges, set within a surround that includes a keystone lintel and a gable above. To the left of the steps, there is a single light window with a flat-chamfered surround. To the left of this window, there is another wide 19th-century plank door with strap hinges and a keystone lintel. A single light window with glazing bars is situated to the left of this door. To the right of the steps, there is a wide plank door with strap hinges, and a single light window with a flat-chamfered surround is located far right. Additionally, pigeon holes are arranged in a triangular formation on the forward-facing wall of the lean-to. The building features flat gable end coping. The interior has not been inspected.
