Description
The building is a former stable, now used for general purposes, located 30 metres west of Park Farmhouse. It likely dates from the 18th century but includes features from the 17th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble limestone and has a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and consists of two bays.
The left bay features a ground floor window opening that reuses one jamb from a 17th-century chamfered stone window. The right bay has a ground floor window with a frame and two mullions from a 17th-century six-light wooden window, which has ovolo mouldings. Above this, there is a 17th-century three-light window with chamfered stone mullions. To the right of the centre, there is a doorway with a wooden lintel, and to the left of the centre, an old board loft door.
The left gable end has a long wooden lintel over altered ground floor openings and a four-light window above with chamfered wooden mullions, two of which have a central diamond mullion. The right gable end features a later door and loft door. The rear wall is blind.
