Description

This barn, located to the east of St. Augustine Farm, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with dressed stone quoins and features a stone slate roof. The east side has a prominent gabled cart entry, which is flanked by lean-tos with catslides. The entry includes a tile-hung gable, a large timber lintel, and double timber doors. There is also a garage opening on the street side of the left-hand lean-to. On the opposite side, there is a lower level entry with a separate projecting hipped roof canopy and double timber doors. The south gable end has a square pitch hole with a timber lintel and several scattered square vents. The interior is not accessible.
