WINDRUSH - SP 1913 10/234 Pinchpool Farmhouse (formerly listed with barns) 23.1.52 GV II

Detached farmhouse. Early C18 and C19. Ashlar. Stone slate roof with ashlar stacks (restored C20). Rectangular main body with C19 extensions to left and at right angles to main body at rear, the whole now forming an 'L'-shaped plan. Main body; flat- chamfered plinth and rusticated quoins to main body. Two-storey, 5-windowed facade. All windows 2-light double-chamfered stone- mullioned casements within plain architraves with pulvinated mouldings at top. Continuous dripmould over ground floor windows. All windows C20 casements with leaded panes. C20 door off-centre left within beaded architrave. Single-storey extension to left with 3-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with hollow-moulded stone mullions (probably reused). C19 extension at rear; 2 storeys with 3-light stone-mullioned casements. Double door to lean-to porch on right. Stacks at gable ends of main body. Saddleback coping and moulded kneelers at gable ends of main body. Flat coping at gable ends of extensions. Interior; spine beam with moulded stops. Rectangular stone fireplace with double-quirked beaded margin within C18 main body.
