Description

Pinchpool Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 18th century and 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a stone slate roof with restored ashlar stacks from the 20th century. The building has a rectangular main body with 19th-century extensions to the left and a rear extension at right angles, creating an 'L'-shaped plan.

The main facade is two stories high with five windows. All windows are 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements set within plain architraves that have pulvinated mouldings at the top. There is a continuous dripmould above the ground floor windows. The windows have been replaced with 20th-century casements featuring leaded panes. An off-centre left door is framed by a beaded architrave.

To the left, there is a single-storey extension that includes a 3-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with hollow-moulded stone mullions, which are likely reused. The rear 19th-century extension is two stories tall and has 3-light stone-mullioned casements. A double door leads to a lean-to porch on the right side. The gable ends of the main body have stacks, saddleback coping, and moulded kneelers, while the extensions feature flat coping.

Inside, there is a spine beam with moulded stops and a rectangular stone fireplace with a double-quirked beaded margin located within the 18th-century main body.
