Description
Vine Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located in a row with The Cottage, Tagley Cottage, and Jasmine Cottage in Windrush Village. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof with a 20th-century artificial stone stack. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a 20th-century extension at the rear, which is not of special interest. The facade has three windows, with the right-hand bay rebuilt in the 20th century. On the first floor, there are three 2-light stone-mullioned casements, while the ground floor has two 2-light and one 20th-century three-light stone-mullioned casement. The window to the left of the front door features a hollow-moulded mullion. The front door is a 20th-century plank door with fillets, positioned off-centre to the left and topped with a flat stone canopy supported by moulded stone brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
